The OVI Lighting Booth® provides the necessary controlled illumination and environment for viewing and QC inspection of object color, gonioapparent colors, and transparency viewing of printed sheets.
The OVI Lighting Booth provides controlled and directed illumination at 5000oK. This is the standard source Correlated Color Temperature, CCT, used in the printing industry.
- Overhead illumination for standard light booth viewing at CCT of5000oK.
- Aspecular illumination with a tilt table to view the color flop of the optically variable ink on a bank note sheet or security document. CCT is 5000oK.
- A pull-out transparency viewer to view water marks, threads and alignment. The viewer also provides precision registration marks. CCT is 5000oK.
- The OVI booth has a pull out, lockable sheet storage drawer
- The OVI booth is available with UV lighting option for evaluation of fluorescent inks.
- The OVI booth is available in an 88-inch width model. This model allows for side by side viewing of two sheets.
